Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks on a wide range of materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to determine project specifications.
Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding machines.
Ensure proper fit-up and alignment of parts before welding.
Monitor and maintain welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Inspect welds for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
Collaborate with team members to plan and prioritize welding projects.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate records of welding activities and materials used.
Continuously improve welding techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Welder, with a strong focus on welding various materials.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
Excellent knowledge of welding techniques and equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
Ability to perform welds with precision and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a welding environment.
Good physical stamina and dexterity to handle the demands of the job.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Welding certification(s) preferred.
