We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team at our facility in Madison, WI (53703). As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal structures and equipment using various welding techniques. Responsibilities

Perform welding operations on metal components according to blueprints, specifications, and industry standards.
Operate welding equipment and tools such as MIG, TIG, and arc welders.
Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and shaping metal pieces.
Inspect and test welded surfaces to detect flaws or defects.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures at all times.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines.
Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
Adhere to quality control standards to ensure the production of durable and reliable products.
Document work performed and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Welder or similar role.
Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and welding symbols.
Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and equipment.
Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in welding.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in welding are a plus.
