As an industry leader in the design, installation, and implementation of sanitary process systems/technologies used in the dairy, food, beverage, and bio-pharmaceutical industries, we are always looking for a positive, forward looking and experienced Outside Technical Salesperson. A successful candidate will travel as needed throughout the US to service existing clients and potential customers in the regional area.

  • Develop new and maintain existing productive relationships with a wide and varied customer base
  • Work closely with our skilled engineering staff for project related sales
  • Market and sell a broad range of engineered components, MRO products, process systems and technologies to the food, dairy, beverage, and bio-pharmaceutical industries
  • Our ideal candidate will have a background in the sanitary processing industry, through sales/distribution or actual in-plant production/management experience
  • Additional duties as assigned

Total compensation includes your pay (base salary), commission (or incentives or both), comprehensive medical/dental/vision programs, as well as life insurance, disability insurance, paid time off programs, a retirement savings plan with a company match, and a wellness program. And because we understand the importance of feeling protected, there is no waiting period for benefits – you are eligible on your first day of employment! 

Base Salary Range: $68,600.00 - $117,600.00; Potential Commission Opportunity: $10,000.00 - $40,000.00

*** Must have sales experience with capital equipment and/or projects in the food and beverage industry***

  • 2-3 years of technical sales experience in the sanitary or liquid process experience in food, beverage, dairy, bio-pharmaceutical, or personal care industries is ideal but not required
  • Good communication skills with a strong technical aptitude/knowledge
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, and strong work ethic
  • Strong communicator with people skills and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce, or similar CRM platform)
  • Be self-directed and comfortable working independently
  • Possess time management and problem-solving skills
  • Able to create a work an effective prospecting and self-directed KPI plan
  • Basic understanding of the sanitary process industry regulations
  • Comfortable traveling throughout designated territory
  • Experience with Anderson Instruments, Fristam Pumps, and Südmo Valves a huge plus
  • Background in the Sanitary Processing Industry, through sales/distribution or actual in plant production/management experience preferred
