H&P's Technology Solutions drives the development of advanced technologies and directional drilling automation solutions to help customers achieve greater reliability and improve well performance. As a Software Engineer you would be focused on cloud-based technology pushing the limits of the oil & gas industry.

We currently have openings for various levels of software engineer on our team with remote, hybrid or on-site working locations available.

SOFTWARE ENGINER SKILLS AND TOOLS USED:

• 1-5+ years' experience
• Java, Sprint, Spring Boot, REST
• Vue, Angular, Java Script, HTML, CSS
• REST-based APIs
• MongoDB or Relational Databases
• Docker, Kubernetes
• Jenkins, CI/CD Pipelines
• Microservices and SaaS
• Git, Git hub, Bitbucket, IntelliJ

QUALITIES OF OUR SOFTWARE ENGINEERS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent related experience) required
• Demonstrate the H&P Company values: Actively C.A.R.E., Service Attitude, Innovative Spirit, and Teamwork.
• Oil and Gas experience a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Quality Champion - must have a strong desire to help drive the software team and the company towards a culture of producing high-quality software.

• Proactive - take the initiative to resolve issues collaboratively
• Innovative in creating new approaches and aggressively meet customer requirements.
• Detail oriented - designs, implementations and tests that are thorough and accurate; user stories are fully groomed and detailed with product owner prior to work starting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties.

Salary Range: $89,800 - $143,600
