Job Overview:
The Pioneer Press is seeking a part time reporter working with our local news team. This person will:
- Report breaking news and features and other news projects as assigned.
- Use all relevant tools to gather and report news of value to our St. Paul/East Metro communities .
- Develop sources in our area
- Work closely with Pioneer Press editors and reporters on longer-term reports
Required Experience:
· College degree or relevant coursework
· Journalism training and experience
· Other job experience that demonstrates initiative and integrity
Guild Position, A-scale, Benefits according to the Guild contract
Schedule: Two shifts per week, to be determined
