Job Overview:

NJM Packaging, based in Montreal, QC, Canada designs, manufactures, integrates and supports a large variety of packaging machinery and complete packaging lines targeted to the pharmaceutical industry.  Principal duties:

  • To sell ProMach Pharmaceutical Packaging equipment and lines while supporting both customer and business revenue and growth goals.
  • To study and learn the performance and technical aspects of the company’s product lines in order to present the products at the highest technical level.
  • To establish a strong relationship with the major decision makers in the industries being served.
  • To routinely prospect for new customers in order to maintain a good mix of existing and new customers.
  • To travel to customer locations as required.
  • To travel to company manufacturing sites for FAT’s, customer demonstrations and company meetings on an as needed basis
  • To develop all specifications, (Request for Quote, SalesForce.com Opportunities - meeting and contact notes) necessary to prepare accurate and timely quotes.
  • To make sales presentations to prospects both on an individual and group basis.
  • To keep management informed on trends in the marketplace and update management on competition’s capability and prices and document all information in Salesforce.com.
  • To participate in the development of sales targets and to meet or exceed these targets.
  • To report in Salesforce.com each significant sales encounter in an accurate and timely basis.
  • To maintain accurate records of activities and expenses.
  • To actively work with head office in obtaining the critical information required to process all sales orders.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Solid understanding pharmaceutical packaging applications and technology with a focus on labeling.
  • Ability to close sales consistently and with limited management intervention
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a friendly and likeable personality
  • Ability to work independently and with limited day-to-day supervision
  • Extremely high sense of integrity and personal accountability
  • Must be a solid ambassador of the company and project a professional image when interfacing with outside contacts such as customers, industry partners, and suppliers
  • 10+ yrs of experience in a customer-facing role in the label or packaging machinery industry
  • Proven track record of success selling industrial equipment
  • Working understanding of current good manufacturing processes
  • Experience using customer relationship management software is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
