Pay Range: $19.25- $22.25

Job Purpose

Responsible to perform quality controls reviews of manufactured products and records. This activity is executed in real-time and in accordance with the Quality System.  Timely and accurate work is expected. The work is performed in a fast-pace and dynamic work environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming, first articles, in-process, final inspection, and re-work quality checks, using a wide variety of inspection tools
  • Determination of product acceptance status after inspection
  • Identification and escalation of non-conformances observed during inspection
  • Follow good documentation practices during document review and inspection
  • Performs all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines
  • Ensure process compliance, as needed/required
  • Review and approve Device History records
  • Release work in process to finished goods inventory. Flag inconsistent or incorrect records and report errors to supervisor or management
  • Inspect product to specification or processes. Segregate non-confirming product and seek guidance on reporting the non-conformance
  • Physically quarantine non-conforming products and seek guidance on reporting the quarantined materials
  • Perform QC testing as needed. Exhibit competence with testing methods selected for assigned tasks
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standard and procedures, complying with legal regulations
  • Report Quality problems or concerns to direct report or quality manager
  • Populate databases for collection and analysis and other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Quality related field, manufacturing, regulated industry experience, preferred
  • Ability to operate basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers required
  • Knowledge of quality test methods and use of related lab equipment, preferred

Physical Demands

  • Ability to work in front of a laptop or PC workstation for extended periods of time
  • Frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling
  • Schedule flexibility to include weekend and after-hours workload
  • Work requires hearing, mental and visual attention
  • Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. frequently
  • Subject to pre-employment drug testing, criminal background, and VOE checks
  • Required to wear proper safety equipment while handling hazardous materials in the work environment
