Overview
Tennessee Crown Distributing Co. is looking for an On-Premise Sales Representative.
Tennessee Crown is a distributor of fine wines and spirits in the Nashville area. The position is responsible for establishing Tennessee Crown’s presence in restaurants, clubs, bars, event centers, etc.
Responsibilities
- Fulltime position
- Must be able to travel throughout the sales territory, visit customers, receive and transmit customer orders. As a sales representative, you are responsible for achieving and exceeding goals for wine and spirits sales within your territory. Performs other duties as assigned
- This is a new role and will require account prospecting, relationship building, brand knowledge, product representation and exceptional customer service. Applicant must be a motivated self-starter
- Position Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain a weekly itinerary for all accounts with scheduled call back days along with corporate account calls
- Follow procedure and achieve all sales goals
- Develop, maintain and expand existing brands within the portfolio by providing extensive customer service, including making sales presentations, coordinating promotions, seminars and conducting product tastings and staff trainings.
- Develop marketing plans and strategies to achieve long term goals and opportunities.
- Ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment.
- Work in conjunction with the office staff, warehouse, delivery, corporate office and Human resources to ensure a teamwork atmosphere and maintain a positive attitude.
- Attend all sales meetings promptly with enthusiasm.
- Keep up with tracking goals and administrative detail.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- 2 years minimum outside sales experience in the beverage industry (wholesale, supplier, restaurant or hotel experience preferred).
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of basic computer applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint …)
- College degree preferred, however High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, mathematical, time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must possess valid TN Drivers license.
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to maintain 100/300/100 insurance limitations.
- Must be licensable under the guidelines determined by state alcohol regulations
- Background Checks (i.e. Police backgrounds, reference checks…)
