Job Description

Summary/Objective

This entry level position is responsible for ensuring the inserting process is completed on a daily basis.

Essential Functions

• Hand inserting free standing inserts into the inserting machine

• Use the shrink wrap machine to wrap pallets

• Use pallet jacks to move materials with the mailroom and warehouse

• Supply an inserting station “pocket” with approximately 100 inserts at a time

• Proper usage of a “jogging” table aligning all inserts perfectly prior to loading a pocket

• Work on the bindery machine to load signatures

• Loading mail pieces into the mail machine and gathering address pieces off of the conveyor

• Responsible for daily cleanup of the mailroom

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Work Environment

• This job operates in a fast paced, production environment using inserting equipment.

• This position may be subject to loud machinery noises

Physical Demands

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and requires the ability repetitively lift up to 50 pounds and pull/push up to 300 pounds

The hourly wage for Colorado residents is $12.56.
