The Materials Coordinator contributes to the success of the company by directing and coordinating activities engaged in purchasing and distributing raw materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies in the organization by performing the following duties personally.  In this role you will….

  • Update schedule status of details and assemblies as they move through the manufacturing process.
  • Monitor past due reports and contact vendors if needed for updated delivery status.
  • Monitor shortage reports and advise production of schedule changes
  • Manage Transfer Orders, sending and updating status reports
  • Expedite and consolidate manufactured items.
  • Process scheduling changes of production items
  • Analyze vendor delivery times to enhance forecasting.
  • Manage and update due dates in Syteline ERP System

Who we’re looking for?

  • 3+ years’ experience in Materials in a Manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Ability to speak effectively and present information across all levels of company personnel.
  • Experience using ERP systems to manage procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Manufacturing control software experience
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure (metric and English), using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Primarily office demands, sitting at a desk, operating keyboard & phone
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
