Description
Hoist & Crane Service Group is seeking a Marketing Assistant. The Marketing Assistant is responsible for maintaining expenses, creating job folders, answering phones, filing, data entry, and other tasks as assigned by the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The Marketing Assistant will assist with strategically developing and implementing the company's regional and national advertising, marketing, and communications programs, in order to build brand awareness and increase sales. The Marketing Assistant is a professional who values integrity, productivity, and customer engagement.
Website
- Manage and write the content of our corporate website to ensure information is current and dynamic.
- Develop and oversee production of any video content for social media.
- Review web analytics and ad words campaigns on an ongoing basis and generate monthly reports regarding site traffic.
Training
- Prepare and conduct training programs, presentations, and webinars
- Prepare training material and classroom agenda.
- Provide training at branch locations
- Create instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids).
- Amend and revise programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes in the work environment
- Ensure the quality and consistency of course content following the HCSG Training Structure
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish the work.
Qualifications
The qualified candidate will be able to pass drug, alcohol, background, and motor vehicle checks and will meet the following:
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or other related field, and at least 5 years related experience.
- Demonstrated background in content management, creative writing, technical writing, advertising concepting, social media, print, media negotiations, and digital advertising.
- 3+ years of clerical or office experience
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Computer proficient including Microsoft Office, accounting programs, and document storage software (NetSuite a plus)
- Exceptional customer service skills
