The IT Development Manager is a hands-on role leading our business application development team, which supports ERP, CRM, and related integrations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring best practices are followed related to development standards, change control, and documentation. You will also provide updates to IT and business leadership regarding the status of requests and timelines for completion. As a player-coach, you will also be responsible for mentoring the team, troubleshooting issues, and designing/developing enhancements.

Are you passionate about this work?

• Lead a team of Business Application Developers to deliver enhancement requests and provide support for ERP and CRM systems
• Track enhancement requests and deliver status updates to leadership
• Ensure proper change control procedures are followed as production systems are altered
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Business Analysts to ensure requests are properly documented before development begins
• Document technical details of solutions and work with Business Analysts and Project Sponsors to create user guides
• Maintain and revise development standards to ensure scalability and maintainability of Business Systems
• Oversee helpdesk requests for application support
• Perform analysis, design, implementation, installation, and training related to new software developed, acquired and/or enhanced

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or similar area of technical study or equivalent work experience
• 2+ Years’ experience leading a development team along with 2+ Years’ ERP software development experience
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Transact SQL, and SSRS
• Experience with integration platforms such as Talend
• Ability to communicate with associates at all levels throughout the organization
• Strong written communications skills with experience writing technical documentation
• Ability to organize and prioritize daily workload and perform under pressure
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Motivated, committed, and energetic self-starter dedicated to providing high-quality and responsive IT service
