The Job Summary for the Senior Accountant position include, but are not limited to, intercompany billing and intercompany balancing as well as monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Create settlement process for all companies to clear intercompany general ledger accounts by establishing a global standard
• Define process rules and monitor intercompany standards
• Invoicing between companies for intracompany and intercompany transactions
• Preparing journal entries for multiple companies
• Support intercompany daily operations and handle issues and inquiries
• Reconcile all intercompany general ledger accounts ensuring all are balanced
• Ensure all intercompany entries that require cash settlement are cleared monthly
• Participating in the identification and implementation of improvements to existing processes
• Additional projects as assigned
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or higher degree in accounting
• CPA or CPA track
• 3 - 4 years of Accounting experience (some Public preferred)
• Previous experience with intercompany settling in a global organization required
• Public accounting experience (Big Four a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
• Experience with general ledger function and the monthly/yearly closing process
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills including pivot tables and Vlookups
• Excellent interpersonal and professional skills
• Self-motivated
• Excellent organizational skills in order to manage multiple tasks
• Working knowledge of ERP systems like Oracle
• Experience working with or within a public company with SEC reporting and SOX control requirements
• Experience in the oil field service industry
