Job Purpose

This position is involved with the dispositon of parts aligned with Hisco product lines from raw materials purchase to finished goods. While this job requires driving to customer site during down time the person in this role will serve as a back up Material Handler in the warehosue. 

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Work performed primarily at customer site
• Establish and maintain good customer relations with Line Leads and Managers
• Deliver orders to local customers on-time and as requested.
• Monitor bin locations, shelf life and FIFO, inventory counting, and cycle counts at the customer site.
• Must maintain valid training certificate of completion of forklift training.
• Must maintain valid certificate of safety training and awareness.
• Must follow all federal and state compliance requirements in product handling.
• Responsible for preventive maintenance and incident reporting for warehouse safety
• Must facilitate two-way communications with customer and with HISCO supervisor to ensure full customer satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED
• 2+ years warehousing experience in an industrial, semi-conductor, and/or distribution industry.
• HazMat Certified or willing to complete the necessary training within 90 days of hire
• 2+ years inventory processing, cycle counting and reconciliation

Core Competencies

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be subject to periodic DMV checks.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, previous employment verification, federal and county criminal background check and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Computer literate in MS Word and Outlook; working knowledge of shipping & receiving software
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Fast-paced warehouse environment.  Some stress may occur.
• Sitting for long periods of time in front of a computer and while driving.
