Description

Hoist & Crane Service Group is seeking an Experienced Human Resources Administrator to add to our existing team! The HR Administrator contributes a high level of energy to the implementation of HCSG's people and organizational agenda. The individual must be able to deliver high quality results in support of branch and department objectives.

Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provides daily administrative support to the Human Resources Department
  • Assists in resolving employee inquiries related to employment, benefits, as well as other HR related issues as they arise
  • Coordinates the new hire on-boarding process to include orientation
  • Prepares new hire paperwork and maintains personnel files
  • Maintains HRIS records and generates reports
  • Verifies I-9 documentation and assists in compliance audits as needed
  • Assists employees with initial enrollment, renewals, and changes in health plan benefits.
  • Assists with paperwork related to ensuring compliance of EEOC, EEO, ADA, FMLA, COBRA Reviews department invoices for accuracy
  • May assist in tracking performance reviews and generating notices to managers
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications


The qualified candidate will be able to pass drug, alcohol, background, and motor vehicle checks and will meet the following:

  • 4+ years of experience in Human Resources or other related administrative or operations experience
  • High School Diploma or GED is required, Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Business Management is preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Intermediate level use of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
