Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced French Cook to join our culinary team. As a French Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting authentic French cuisine, ensuring the highest standards of quality and taste. This role requires creativity, precision, and a deep understanding of traditional and modern French cooking techniques. The work hours are in Wednesday through Saturday between 6pm and 11pm.

Key Responsibilities

Menu Creation: Assist in designing and updating menus with a focus on classic and contemporary French dishes.

Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes such as Coq au Vin, Ratatouille, Bouillabaisse, and other French delicacies, ensuring authentic flavors and presentation.

Ingredient Selection: Source and use high-quality, seasonal ingredients to maintain authenticity and freshness in dishes.

Kitchen Operations: Ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen, including food preparation, plating, and service.

Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.

Sanitation: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Customer Satisfaction: Interact with customers, when required, to understand their preferences and ensure a memorable dining experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a French Cook or Chef specializing in French cuisine.

• In-depth knowledge of traditional French cooking techniques, sauces, and pastry preparation.

• Culinary degree or equivalent training in French cuisine is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on flavor, texture, and presentation.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

• Creativity and passion for French gastronomy.
