JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce monthly reports, which include key performance metrics, historical sales trends, labor utilization and job cost performance
  • Evaluation of profitability on accounts by analyzing rates against operational cost to drive efficiencies
  • Support various pricing initiatives and quoting model for build to print work.
  • Provide various reporting and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and project support to management.
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures, product and customer trends.
  • Develop and monitor cost center/departmental budgets, helping operations keep track of actual spending and stay within budget
  • Conduct month-end close duties including preparing journal entries and completing account reconciliations.
  • Proficient in determining,  calculating and maintaining documentation to support percentage of completion method for revenue recognition.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives leveraging automation.
  • Assisting in compiling and providing  information to internal and external auditors
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, financial or related field or equivalent work experience (Finance/Accounting degree and/or MBA preferred).
  • 2-4 years of experience in analysis or accounting function, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous cost experience helpful.
  • Solid understanding of accepted accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with peers to complete projects.
  • Ability to anticipate accounting, financial reporting and operational issues.
  • Team player with ability to work independently while maintaining highest standards, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
  • Ability to retrieve and extract data from unstructured data sources in order to compile and synthesize key data.
  • Ability to efficiently develop thorough and intuitive analyses, and draw and communicate reasonable, accurate, and defendable conclusions.
  • Ability to support other members of the Finance team and other departments as needed.
  • A strong ability to work independently, ask informative questions and to seek guidance as needed.
  • High proficiency in ERP System and Microsoft Excel is required
