If you are and experienced Press Break Operator, consider applying to work in our Cortland Manor, NY shop. Company-specific policy and procedure training is provided, but prior experience as a Fabricator (Brake Press Operator) is required for this role. 

Employee shall be expected to perform basic set up and routine maintenance on the press brake. To produce work according to specification documents, as driven by the production schedule, and to safely and effectively operate the press brake controls. An employee in this role also performs secondary operations such as installing PEM hardware on to work-in-progress goods utilizing an insertion machine as called for between different bend set up operations.

Requirements

Education Required: High School Diploma or GED

Experience Required: 1+ years machine shop experience, or similar experience in a manufacturing environment operating a pneumatic brake press.

Skills: Comfortable working in English, both written and conversational. General computer literacy, especially for Windows operating systems. Experience with precision measurement tools, capable in the use of calipers, gauge pins, and drop-through gauges. Able to read and interpret detail drawings and blueprints. Must be able to set up the brake press, monitor tolerances and provide feedback to design drafting on new or novel products.

Compensation starting at $25.00/Hour. 

Special salary consideration will be given to applicants with lengthily prior experience. 

This is a Full-time Position.

Hours and Days: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Overtime shifts are available from time to time as the schedule dictates.
