ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING INTERN JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Work with Controls Engineer and Designers in designing electrical control systems. • Create, detail and update electrical and pneumatic schematics in AutoCAD Electrical. • Provide machine startup and debug support to electrical controls and electrical assembly. • Assist in verifying proper wiring components, plumbing of components and machine I/O checks. • Proof Electrical Schematics. • Draw enclosure cutouts and Back Panel layouts. • Commission, test and debug robotic systems • Knowledge of components including Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc robots, misc I/O devices, VFDs, servos, HMIs, pneumatics, safety circuits, vision and various industrial networks preferred. • Experience in Allen Bradley programming software • RsLogix500,RsLogix5000 and FactoryTalk Studio ME preferred.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering • Familiar with AutoCAD and Inventor or similar platforms • Strong communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Preferably a Junior or Senior • Ability to read and interpret blue prints and schematics • Ability to apply principles of logic or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
