Bartelt Packaging, a Pro Mach Company is looking for an  Electrical Assembler to join its team. The Electrical Assembler installs electrical wiring on equipment and assembles components in control panels and cabinets for machines.

As an Electrical Assembler with Bartelt Packaging, a ProMach product brand, you will…

  • Read electrical schematic drawings, specifications and work orders to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions; install components such as wiring, relays, controls and other type of controllers on electrical panels and performs final machine wiring.
  • Receive parts kit from inventory; examines parts for defects such as pinholes or chips; positions, aligns, or adjusts electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly; cleanly routes wiring to panel according to diagram.
  • Drill and tap holes in specified locations on the machine for mounting control units.
  • Attach breakers, relays, contactors, transformers, insulators, regulator cabinets, condenser units, motor and generator sets, meters, plugging devices, and fuse blocks to mounting holes with bolts and screws.
  • Cut, strip, bend, and form wire cable, conduit, pipe, and tubing used to connect circuits and subassemblies; solders connections and crimps connectors to wire ends.
  • Use a variety of electrical testing and gauging devices; inspect or test wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or for operation and records results.
  • Troubleshoot problems with assembly of machine by interacting with EAI, supervisor or engineers.
  • Record labor hours correctly using the Enterprise Resource Planning system.

 Who we’re looking for?

  • Certificate in electrical from a technical/trade school.
  • Two years or more electrical production or industrial experience.
