Summary:

The Digital Sales Executive is responsible for delivering world-class service, partnering with clients to meet their digital campaign objectives and working with colleagues to manage the development of strategic accounts, acting as a digital product subject-matter-expert. The DSE partners with internal teams for sales, marketing, and ad operations to exceed KPI goals for our clients. The DSE proactively provides campaign feedback and presents up-sell opportunities to existing clients in order to grow the book of business.

Essential Functions:

  • Interact with sales, ad ops, marketing, and clients to ensure digital campaign success.

  • Responsible for client revenue growth, financial forecasting, and accurate customer billing

  • Build pitch decks and present to client.

  • Acknowledge and overcome client objections by analyzing and resolving campaign issues.

  • Prepare required documents (contract, product, creative assets) and coordinate campaign schedule.

  • Work with client post-sale to ensure client retention, renewal, and overall campaign success.

  • Develop internal and client-facing custom reports via Google Analytics, Excel and other internal tools that monitor campaign results.

  • Partner with Campaign Manager to ensure campaign pacing.

  • Share best practices and mentor new hires. Collaborate and participate in team meetings.

  • Job duties and priorities may shift as revenue and department needs fluctuate.

Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree or equivalent amount of work experience.

  • Strong understanding of digital and mobile advertising products. The ideal candidate will have programmatic display, search engine marketing (SEM), social, and native content knowledge.

  • Strong computer skills required. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong analytical skills required. Must have proficiency in Google Analytics.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Solid presentation skills.

  • Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational, time management skills.

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Must have valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and reliable vehicle.

The starting hourly wage for Colorado residents is $28.85/hour. The total compensation target for this position is $100,000-120,000/year based on performance. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, MediaNews Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition program, and 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
