Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative, you are the face of Hisco to our customers. You provide information in response to customer inquiries regarding account status, products, services, purchase orders and shipments. This key position at Hisco requires attention to detail, customer urgency, and ability to work with all customers in a professional manner.

Day-to-day Activities

• As the primary contact for your customers, you will manage their order as it goes through the life cycle.
• Perform Order Entry and Processing using the optimal type of OE Types (Types: Direct Orders, Future Orders, Stock Orders, Blanket, Blanket Release, JIT)
• To ensure an elevated customer experience, answer to inquiries about account, products, and services as they come in
• Follow-up with procurement team to ensure customers receive correct information about their products  
• Collaborates with Accounts Receivables Clerk to keep their accounts balanced
• Take the initiative in finding possible solutions to any potential issues to may impact your customer
• Sound understanding of order to cash processing and Loop/Order Automation
• Other duties as assigned

Education or experience

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of work experience. Preferred experience includes Customer Service, Sales, Technical support, or e-commerce.
• 2 years of general order entry in an ERP system
• Knowledge of industrial Distibution is a plus
