Job Title: Compliance Analyst, Senior
Department: Compliance
Supervisor: Manager, Compliance
Job Summary: This position will report to the Manager, Compliance and will assist with Helmerich and Payne’s corporate compliance programs with responsibilities in the areas of Global Anti-Corruption, Trade Compliance, Training, and other responsibilities as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrates strong character, ethics, and integrity
- Demonstrates ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Knowledge of global anti-bribery and trade compliance regulations
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, Oracle preferred
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation, and leadership) to work effectively with all levels of in the Company.
- Some travel required – domestic and international
- Demonstrates the H&P Company Values: Actively C.A.R.E., Service Attitude, Innovative Spirit, and Teamwork
Responsibilities:
- Performs daily/quarterly/annual monitoring activities to ensure H&P is following applicable government regulations and internal policies
- Participates in the development and presentation of training (presentations, supporting material, etc.) necessary to support the Company’s high standards
- Revise applicable policies and procedures as needed
- Communicates and collaborates with management and business partners regarding anti-bribery/corruption and trade compliance risks and controls
- Ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Accounting/Business Administration/Finance
- 6-8 years General ledger/Auditing/Financial reporting experience preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) preferred
