Job Overview

As a CNC Machinist at Hudson Construction, you'll be an integral part of our dynamic team, helping to shape the future of home construction. You'll operate our CNC machines to produce high-quality, precision components that are essential to our unique prefab home designs. Your expertise will directly contribute to creating living spaces that are turning heads across the Midwest.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate our CNC machines to fabricate various components for prefab homes
• Work with our small but mighty team of designers and engineers to bring innovative ideas to life
• Participate in our rapid prototyping and continuous improvement initiatives
• Help establish and refine our manufacturing processes as we scale
• Contribute ideas to improve efficiency and quality in our fast-paced startup environment

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a CNC machinist in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in programming and operating CNC mills and lathes
• Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
• Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment and wearing multiple hats
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree a plus

Shift and Pay

• Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Competitive hourly rate: $22 - $30 per hour, based on experience
• Overtime opportunities available as we scale our operations
