Job Overview:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Setup machine with proper tooling
  • Run/adjust programs as necessary to produce quality parts
  • Verify that parts are machined correctly to the print
  • Capable of using measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
  • Read and interpret blueprints including material gauge and tolerances
  • Review/follow any specific instructions on job order
  • Perform first/last article quality check, routing per guidelines and check for burrs
  • Make sure all jobs are recorded within MRP system and quantities are accurately counted
  • Place parts neatly with job orders and deliver to next work center
  • Perform general maintenance of machines
  • Keep work area clean and orderly
  • Follow all safety policies within work center
  • Work to achieve routing times and report to supervisor major discrepancies
  • Perform additional duties and assignments 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma
  • 2 years technical training
  • 3-5 years’ experience
  • Detail and quality oriented
  • Good attendance
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Professional communication, attitude and image
  • May require lifting of parts and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
