EPI (a brand of Pro Mach and ID Technology) is looking for a talented and detail-oriented CNC Machinist for its New Freedom, PA machinery plant. We are looking for candidates with experience operating and programming CNC Mills and Lathes to machine parts based on engineering designs and customer specifications. In this role you will...
- Interpret programs
- Set up/touch off tooling
- Operate CNC machines
- Finishing operations, including grinding, polishing, sanding, deburring
- Clean up and general maintenance of shop area and machines
- Operate in accordance with all safety procedures
- Assembles, repairs, fabricates metal parts
- Assembles parts into sub-units or complete units
- Uses blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels
- Partner with engineering on R & D projects
- Maintain Quality Control through inspections
Who we're looking for?
- Fine motor skills – Bending into machine repeatedly to change parts, inspection, etc.
- Ability to adapt with changing priorities and to engage in multiple jobs simultaneously
- Machinist Certification
- Ability to read machine drawings/ documentation to assemble machines
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to work independently
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to read small numbers
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Prolonged standing - most of the day
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
