You will be responsible for the set-up and operation of the Amada press brake. You will select and properly set up all tooling as needed for parts to be fabricated to customer specifications as well as be responsible for quality specifications of finished parts off the press brake.

• Read & interpret 2-D and 3-D component and assembly prints
• Work on brake press - make parts to print
• Assist/cross train other areas of fabrication and or assembly as needed
• Rework parts
• Hold correct tolerance required by engineering
• Perform with minimal guidance in most situations.
• Flexibility to do other assigned tasks in the shop at any time (specifically deburr and polish of parts from press brake)
• Adhering to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Tooling must be kept in good shape; communication/assistance when new/modified tooling is needed.
• Ability to analyze and perform rework when needed (we provide custom equipment so change is often necessary)
• Any assigned task by supervisor/manager

Who we’re looking for?

• High School Diploma or GED
• Trade school or one to two years related experience and/ or training
• Highly motivated, eager to learn, self-driven, and good team leader in the area
• Provide good judgment and decision-making skills
• Be a problem solver with a solution orientated attitude
• Ability to read and understand measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals for both imperial and metric units – good math skills
• Maintain a clutter-free work area
