Summary

Utilize solid knowledge on all aspects of mechanics, electronics and rigging of wake and drive boats.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Installs power supply wiring for newly installed equipment following best marine practices.
  • Assist with warranty items and best course of action to repair of upgrade issues.
  • Identify ways to streamline and ease the installation of products.
  • Assist with custom projects.
  • Follow work orders when requesting parts and manufacturing.
  • May include trailer modifications, adjustments, and repairs.
  • Assist all departments with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing installations.
  • Work with outboards, inboards, and related components.
  • Work with wiring, fuel, lights, windows, and marine components.
  • Occasional contact with customers in a friendly manner.
  • Perform quality inspections and make repairs as needed.
  • Occasional detailing and routine engine maintenance.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of experience in boat rigging, or mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Vocational training or equivalent experience, or strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be proficient in marine electrical installations, general marine electrical practices, switching equipment, electrical drawings, and troubleshooting.
  • Must have ability to work in technical spaces onboard vessels.
  • Must have all required tools to perform job responsibilities.
  • Must be a team player, and be able to work on a team of individually.
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and test equipment and components.
